Doctors and the Coroner: England & Wales

Author(s): Richard Cherry

Description

Our involvement with the Coroner is always at a time when we are under pressure. Formal teaching in Medical Schools is often rather patchy and many of us are uncertain as to the Law, local custom and our dealings with relatives.

For this issue I visited the Coventry Coroner, David Sarginson, who gave generously of his time and provided me with much helpful material.
