Description
Angioedema is a rare but well recognised complication of
treatment with angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors.
Despite this,it remains a diagnostic challenge,as there may
be no temporal relationship between starting the drug
and developing angioedema.There is also a therapeutic
challenge,as it may be refractory to conventional treatment,
and require a surgical airway.We present our experience of
two cases to highlight the problems.
