Description

Public health has always been about change; there is no substitute for learning through doing. The NHS is a complex system of organisations and individuals. Despite its success it has been the subject of frequent re-organisation and continuous change. In particular, I shall, using some local examples, focus on four themes: managing complexity, creating vision, leadership and managing people.
