Description

Soft tissue complications in Behcets are often refractory to standard immunosuppressive regimes. Following the success of anti-tumour necrosis factor-a (TNF-a) drugs in other rheumatological disease, we decided to give a course of three infusions of infliximab (monoclonal anti-TNF antibody) to two patients with refractory soft tissue complications of Behcets. The effect on soft tissue swelling and inflammation was pronounced within 24hrs.
