Not only can it be used to identify a patients congenital colour deficiency, but it is also a useful tool in helping to diagnose more serious problems like optic nerve disease or general health conditions like diabetes mellitus. This article aims to review the types and categories of colour vision deficiencies and the current methods used to evaluate them.
