YCOHNS and BAO-HNS are encouraging the use of distance learning as one method of keeping up to date and educating ourselves. Current teaching concepts emphasise the value of processing any information we try and absorb. Sitting in a lecture theatre or reading an article often results in little being learnt or retained unless something is done to make us evaluate what has been directed at us.
