Description

The association of Otolaryngology Trainees (AOT) is now 11 years old, The AOT exists, as a group to represent. members interests, within the Specialty Historically the AOT was a talking shop for the pre- Calman Senior Registrars. Our predecessors would once a year find a swanky hotel and have a weekend away discussing what jobs were forthcoming whilst propping up the hotel bar. Things have moved on. The advent of the Calman Reforms and the associated changes in the training of ENT has meant that we need an organisation that keeps up to date with changes and can represent the views of all trainees in such matters and put our case to the bodies making the decisions. We believe that the AOT is best placed for that role.
