Description
Saudi Arabia is the kingdom that comprises most of the Arab Peninsula with an area of 2.25 million sq km and a population of approximately 18.8 millions, 70% of whom are Saudi nationals. The annual population growth rate of the country is 4.7% with around 330 thousand births registered annually. The summer is hot and dry in most of the country except along the coasts where hot humid climate prevails. Winters are moderately cold while the Southern Mountains have rainy and severe cold periods.
