This article outlines the health and healthcare experience of Travellers in Britain and brief ly describes a specialist project designed to meet their health needs as well as identifying some appropriate questions or managers to ref lect on when developing a comprehensive strategy to improve the quality of services to this section of the population. It is also important to be able to separate

cultural/behavioral actors from more material ones.How far are Travellers health problems related to their low socio- economic position,how much to the poor quality of the sites they o ten inhabit and how much to traveling itself?And how ar do these problems re lect their experiences of discrimination and rejection?
