Description
An 89-year old man presented to the Acute Medical Unit with a three-week history of feeling generally unwell, with malaise, fatigue, fevers, and confusion. He had been feeling light-headed on standing, and had sustained three falls on the day prior to admission. He had no cough or sputum, no dysuria or urinary frequency, no abdominal pain or diarrhoea. There were no other localising signs of infection.
