Description

Foreign bodies in the sinuses are an unusual but well

recognised cause of recurrent sinusitis. We present the case

of a lady who had a twenty-year history of recurrent sinus

infections due to a retained foreign body. Whilst awaiting

its surgical removal, she sneezed out the foreign body giving

complete resolution of her longstanding symptoms and a dramatic

improvement in the appearance of her CT scan.
