Description
A 68 year old lady presented with a two year history of neck pain radiating to the left shoulder, and progressive dysphagia to solids. She was otherwise well and gave no history of recent weight loss. She was euthyroid, with no enlargement of the thyroid gland. Physical examination was unremarkable, as were upper GI endoscopy, ultrasound of the thyroid and ENT examination.
