Description
The majority of salivary gland tumours are benign.
There is a wide range of histological types of these tumours
although in the UK. only two or three types are commonly
encountered. In this review we will discuss the more
frequently encountered benign salivary gland tumours in
detail. We will also discuss the general management
principles which can be applied to all benign tumour types,
as well as more specific points relating to each individual
tumour.
