Description
Liposarcomas are uncommon malignant soft tissue
neoplasms. Spindle cell liposarcomas are a recently described
well-differentiated tumour. They can by their well-differentiated
nature be mistaken for spindle cell lipomas. We report a case
of a retropharyngeal spindle cell liposarcoma and review the
literature. We do not believe a retropharyngeal spindle cell
liposarcoma has previously been reported.
