Legal and ethical information, on the web, relating to the care of the elderly mentally ill is often hard to find. Team this with increasing public awareness of these issues and it is time to offer some pointers to what can be found out there.
Four general categories have been identified: Mental Health Act, Ethical Issues, Living Wills, and Enduring Power of Attorney. No judgements are made as to the quality of the information provided by these websites but this article aims to identify where information can be found. Feedback and comment on these sites would be welcomed in order to make this information truly useful.
