This is the first paper to show a cholinergic agent working in patients with a degree of cerebrovascular disease. The mixed dementia is probably the most common one we see in routine clinical practice, and as it is within the NICE umbrella for AD significantly increases the numbers of patients that can be treated under the NHS.
