Description
Posterior membranous injury of the trachea following
blunt trauma is rare.Previously reported cases have been
diagnosed by tracheobronchoscopy and treatment of this
condition has involved ventilation either via an endotracheal
tube or tracheostomy.We describe a case of this uncommon
injury which was diagnosed by CT scan and treated
conservatively without the need of any form of ventilation.
