Description

The term indolent lymphoma describes tumours that are slowly progressive but are rarely cured using currently available therapy. The indolent lymphomas that typically present with lymphadenopathy are follicular lymphoma, marginal zone lymphoma, B-CLL and mantle cell lymphoma. It is important to recognise that each of these entities is pathologically and clinically distinct and that accurate diagnosis is essential for effective patient management.
