Description
An 82 year old male presented to the Emergency Department (ED) with spontaeous left leg weakness (MRC grade 3/5); there were no other clinical findings of note. He had recently had computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) (Figures 2a and 3a) head scans as an outpatient for a similar transient episode 3 weeks earlier.
