Description

An 83 year old right handed woman presented after falling down the stairs at home. She was on the floor for six hours before discovery by neighbours. Her past medical history included an L4/5 decompression. She did not take any regular medications and drank one unit of whiskey each night. She was normally independently mobile and self-caring.
