Description
Despite increasing recognition of the unique nature of primary cutaneous B cell lymphomas, in particular their much better prognosis than comparable nodal lymphomas, their distinction from cutaneous lymphoid hyperplasia (pseudolymphoma) remains problematic and there is considerable debate about their classification. This article presents a brief overview of the current status of primary cutaneous B cell lymphoma in the context of recent classification proposals, the clinicopathological features of the main subtypes and their distinction from lymphoid hyperplasia.
