Question 1
A 28 year old man is crushed between 2 rollers in a factory and is admitted with crush injuries to both legs. He has no other injuries. There is concern over the viability of his legs and he is admitted to the orthopaedic ward for ongoing assessment and consideration of amputations. The following day he collapses and you are called from ITU to find him semi responsive with a blood pressure of 60/35 and note that he is anuric. His 12 lead ECG is shown (Figure 1).

1. Describe this ECG. What is the diagnosis on the ECG?
2. What is the underlying diagnosis in this man?
3. Describe your immediate treatment for both disorders for this man.
