Description
Copy techniques can provide an effective way to construct replacement complete dentures. They allow the favourable features of an existing set of dentures to be incorporated in the replacements. However, when dentures have been worn for significant periods of time, there may be features of the prostheses which need modification. In this paper the options for changing design features of the dentures when using copying techniques will be explored. In addition the use of copying techniques in edentulous people with more complex treatment needs will be considered.
