Parkinsons disease with dementia is becoming increasingly recognised and patients may present to geriatricians on-call or in clinic. This article defines Parkinsons disease with dementia, reviews recent guidelines on how to screen and diagnose the condition and treatment options with hints for the acutely confused patient.
