Description
I do not know how and when it was decided that I would take up medicine. In 1925, after a reasonably successful time at grammar school in Battersea, I passed the Inter-BSc examination which was normally taken two years after matriculation examination (O levels). Inter-BSc had the advantage that you were exempted from part of the later BSc examination if you studied further.
