Abstract
Superficial bladder cancer has been treated with intravesical BCG for almost 30 years. In this review we explore some of the issues surrounding its use patient selection, possible mechanisms of action, potential complications and the known outcome benefits. This article aims to provide a practical overview, which will hopefully be useful to Urologists and Trainees.
