Description
All doctors are accountable for the clinical care
they provide, first to their employers or those
they contract to provide services for, second
to the GMC and third through the courts. GP’s with
a Special Interest are no different. No matter where
potential criticisms arise from, the key issue will be
the standard of care provided which may also involve
the systems in place to deliver that care.
