G.P.s receptionist is not a position that most
sane souls aspire to. Indeed, far from seeing it
as a smart career move, many a receptionist
questions her role each and every day. From
grumpy medics to enraged patients, life on the
frontline of your local surgery is no bed of
roses. Its all very well labelling the first point
of call a dragon but rest assured there is good
reason for being asked, well, just how urgent is
it? or told a request for a repeat prescription
must be put in writing and takes forty-eight
