Description
This article reviews the problems that patients present to adult psychiatry services as a result of acquired brain injuries. Their epidemiology is discussed, with a brief outline of the possible psychopathologies. The aim is to give those working in general adult psychiatry a framework for the assessment and treatment of psychiatric illness in this group of patients.
