Description
Polycythaemia vera is a chronic myeloproliferative disease caused by a clonal proliferation of the haemopoeitic stem cell. There are occasional case reports of both autoimmune haemolytic anaemia and the presence of lupus anticoagulant in these patients and we present a case where the co-existence of these problems presented a complicated clinical problem.
