Description
Recurrent cytogenetic abnormalities have been identified in nearly all histologically-defined subgroups of malignancy of mature lymphocytes. The completion of the human genome sequence and the development of techniques for analysing the expression patterns of all genes and proteins within the neoplastic clone will allow the identification of novel therapeutic targets and the rational design of tumour-specific therapies.
